Chris Tate is a modern jazz cellist redefining the instrument. His playing blends classical technique with improvisation, groove, and contemporary harmony. He has performed with acclaimed artists across today’s jazz landscape, including Adam Blackstone, Derrick Hodge, Vincent Herring, Eddie Barbash, Alexa Tarantino, Marcus Printup, and Matt Davis.
