Jazz Cello Academy launches on August 24th, featuring three unique 5-week courses to choose from: Jazz Styles Survey for Strings, Intro to Jazz Chords, Arpeggios, and Scales, and the Jazz Practice Lab. These courses will run concurrently and offer players the chance to study jazz in a virtual group setting of 6-8 people each week via Zoom. Each course is designed with all levels in mind, from beginner to professional, so that players can move at their own pace through the selected content. Although classes are strings-focused (with specific technical strategies and solutions for cello, violin, viola), all instruments are encouraged to enroll.
